Awesome FireFox Plugin:

Wow, we are very excited. We have just finished creating (and are already massively using it ourselves) a FireFox plugin for ViralURL… it’s called:  ViralPlugin

So step #1 is to install it! If you don’t use FireFox yet, you really should. It is a lot safer and faster then other browsers and you can get it free, here .

The plugin makes it super duper fast and easy to cloak links. To thank our almost 50,000 active members for your support and allowing us to make ViralURL what it is today, we wanted to also throw another awesome contest…

New Contest:

This time the contest will not only be for top referrers, but we will also make it for active plugin users (or people who cloak a lot of links even without using the plugin. ViralPlugin just makes it so much faster and easier).

So here are the contest rules. There are two contests running at the same time. Both will come to an end when the top referrer refers 500 new ViralURL members from the time the contest starts. The first contest is a referral contest and places will be determined by the number of referrals you make. Here are the prizes…

The second contest is a link cloaking contest. It works like this… the person with the most links with at least 10 unique visits in a day will win. This is on any given day over the period of the contest. We expect the contest to last about 30-45 days. The best approach to winning this one, is to cloak as many links as you can (never share a link if its not cloaked) with the cloaker (so easy with the ViralPlugin ) and then use it in places like Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, Forums, Blog Posts, Emails etc. Wherever you normally share links, simply use ViralURL cloaked links instead of normal ones.

The 10 visits needed on that day is to ensure that you are not just mass spamming links or mass creating links and not using them. Only cloak links that you plan on sharing and using. This will be a fun contest, and remember, each day you have a chance to better what you did on another day.

This contest ends when the first one does (when the first person gets to 500 new referrals). There are prizes for the top 10 finishers so it should be easy for you to get on the list! Here are the prizes for this part of the contest…

The contest begins May 29th Midnight EST (in about 15 hours from time of writing this) and you can see the standings of both contests by login and then click on ‘Earnings Section’ then ‘Referral Contest’… or simply login first, then visit this link:

What do you think of the contest?

Don’t delay, get out there and win yourself some cash and prizes!

Thank you for being a valued member of ViralURL.

We have worked hard this last year to make the site the leader in our niche and will continue to improve the service as time goes by.

Important:  Our hosts needs to move our servers from Canada to Texas, USA in 10 hours and that is happening at (5 pm EST).

No downtime is expected but there might be a lag in your caching (latency) and with your ISP of around 4 hours when the old site shows instead of the new one.

There is no need to open a support ticket if this happens or during this time, because there is nothing we are able to do about it from our end.  If you are experiencing latency problems, they should disappear on their own latest by 10 pm EST.

Frank will be supervising the move to ensure that in case that there are any problems, they are fixed asap.

Thank you for your support… without you ViralURL couldn’t have been the success it is.

On another ‘Well Worth Reading’ note…

Is the world ending?…

That’s what you might be thinking when you read the alarming news that Citibank has axed a whopping 50,000 jobs.  And that’s in addition to the 23,000 others that lost their livelihood a few months earlier.

Pretty worrying, don’t you think?

I don’t mean to scare you, but you could be next. That is, if  you’re not affected already.  How’s your  Christmas celebration looking?

Even with the post-election fervor and some form of renewed enthusiasm, you can’t deny that this economy’s facing some deadly serious issues.

After all, the Citi fiasco is the latest bad news in a string of bad news.

Wall Street collapsing.  401k plans going to hell. Retirement savings wiped out in a day.  Your stocks worth only slightly more than paper.

Like it or not, the recession is here.  The experts have said this is the worst crisis since the Great Depression.

Yet, your inbox could be proclaiming the online marketing world is thriving.  The so-called gurus are still boasting about 7 figure launches and the recession-free internet lifestyle.

But if it was true, why aren’t you living that same life?

Are those blatant lies?  Or are you doing something wrong?

Here’s something that could be revelation for you:

Internet Marketing Success Is A Numbers Game.

In other words, for you to make that kind of online riches, you need to be exposed to all kinds of teaching material.  Maybe it’s one system or idea you need to propel you to online success.

You can get that spark to create a windfall bonfire for you here…

http://ViralURL.com/BigFire.php

As the great Alex Mandossian said, the more you learn, the more you earn.

But here’s a problem, these things cost money.  In some  instances, a lot of money.  You could be just 1 product away from becoming the next internet hotshot, but because you have already spent so much on learning, you could have passed up on the one chance to have that bright future.

And you know why I’m able to say this?  It’s because I’ve been were you are.

Just 2 years ago, I didn’t have enough knowledge to get ahead.  Not knowing what I can do to take my earnings to the next level.  I kept crashing into a brick wall and I had really bad bruises and  scars to show for it.

That was when Vince Tan came along.  He threw a firesale with $77 for more than $5,000 worth of internet marketing products.  Knowing a good deal when I saw one, I bought that package and to my delight, the secrets I learned caused my internet business grew and grew.

I thank Vince for that little push in the right vertical direction.

Now, the king of firesales is back, and this time he has rallied more than $9,000 worth of product, for 99% off the price.

And here’s the thing, all the products are of top-notch quality.  The contributors are all at least 6 figure income earners in the field who know what they’re talking about.

No scams from ignorant newbie internet marketers throwing together some PLR fluff together and calling it a product.

So what does that mean for you?

Hope.  A fighting chance.  No more worry of where the domino is going to fall next.  A recession-proof life that ensures you can kiss your lousy job, demanding boss and online failures goodbye.  The Internet Marketing lifestyle is still possible.

The last couple of days we had occasional reports of members that couldn’t load http://ViralURL.com in their browsers.

A big thank you goes now to one of our members, Thomas Self from Texas / USA, who made us aware of the cause… one of the latest SpyBot updates.

That latest SpyBot update is only affecting a small number of people that updated their SpyBot installation in June 2008 and that use the immunize feature.

So, until SpyBot updates their database and removes ViralURL.com from it, simply follow the video instructions and remove the two line in the hosts file on your computer that mention viralurl.com using MS Notepad. As mentioned, the hosts file is located in your c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc folder.

If you can’t see the file extensions in Windows, here is how to change the settings so you can…

Please Help Us Here: We can’t get hold of spybot, so we figure that power in numbers will hopefully get this False block undone in the next version. If you could visit THIS PAGE and fill in the form and tell them something like: "I am a member of Viralurl.com and you are blocking Viralurl.com by mistake and it is very annoying for all concerned! Please can you remove Viralurl.com from your detections list. Thank you"

Also, post your comment regarding this in their forum at: http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=34137 Hopefully together we can get them to remove use from their database.

This will be of great help to all of us.

Warm regards,

Colin Klinkert CEO, ViralKing.com	&	Frank Bauer CEO, Add2it.com

P.S – If you are still having trouble, make sure you make the following SpyBot immunize settings adjustment…

Wow – After weeks of work, we have added another module to ViralURL!

It is with great pride that we write this email today. Lots of planning and hard work has gone into improving ViralURL even further and keep your program ahead of any and all competition…

The new addition creates two main functions…

The first is the ability for you to earn credits by reading emails and visiting recommended sites of other members. All the emails that are sent from ViralURL from this point forward (well, starting in 24-48 hours from now) will have a link at the bottom that you can click to earn 30 credits in 30 seconds!

You can now get rewarded for the emails you open, read and take action upon!

The second is a new advertising option that is now available. You can have visitors viewing your site for at least 30 seconds and they are guaranteed to be 24 hours unique too! This really is a win-win for every member!

If you want guaranteed visitors, simply login at http://ViralURL.com/login.php and under the “Ad Credit Section” there are now links to buy and manage guaranteed visitors.

If you are looking to view recommended members sites to earn advertising credits, or invest in traffic to your site, there is now an option for both parties!

Login to get started now, and once the links are activated in the emails (within 24-48 hours) you simply open an email, read it, click the link in the footer and view the website that opens, 30 seconds later your Viralbar text ads will be shown an extra 30 times!

To your success & the continued improvement of ViralURL,

Colin Klinkert CEO, ViralKing.com	&	Frank Bauer CEO, Add2it.com
